About me

I have lived in and grown up with two very different cultures, from the East and from the West, which inform my expanded way of understanding the world. LGBTQ matters have played an important role in my own personal life as well as in the lives of my clients. Just like many of my clients, I have life dreams and creative endeavors that I work towards realizing. Meditation has been a big resource in my life since I was a child. Its role and my meditation practice continue to evolve. The relationship with my clients is a flow of back and forth exchange and I find that my clients continually inspire me.

How I Work

My work is holistic, meaning I look at the different areas that are impacting your life, including your body, your mind, your spirit, your environment, and your community. My therapeutic lens is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment theories, Jungian perspectives through the use of symbolism and dream work, and I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) work.  I help you look at your past influences, including intergenerational influences and systemic influences, as well as your upbringing and relationships and how these experiences shape your beliefs and how you operate in life. Through this work you will get to examine layers of your protection systems and coping mechanisms that have helped you survive but may no longer serve you. I help you look at the themes and patterns that continue to show up in your life, helping you to bring awareness in a way that allows you to make more aware choices in creating the life that you envision for yourself.

My hope is that you can connect more to the core of who you are and make decisions and lead your life from this place. I particularly enjoy working with the content of your dreams, as I find that dreams are a great doorway into your subconscious and can bring up material otherwise unknown that may shine light to your life path.
