Psychotherapy

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”-Carl Jung

Individuals

I work with individuals who are motivated, curious, and dedicated to their personal growth. People who aspire to lead a meaningful life with purpose and intention and those that are ready to be honest in looking deeper at themselves and areas where they feel blocked or stuck.

I have experience working with individuals and couples who are:

  • Seeking support around speaking up and using their voices

  • Planning or going through life transitions or making life decisions

  • Experiencing grief and loss

  • Working on self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-compassion

  • Seeking more direction, meaning, and purpose in their life

  • Looking for more personal and spiritual growth

  • Going through relational difficulties

  • Experiencing anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD

  • Artists, musicians, and other creatives

  • Scientists and engineers

  • Immigrants or those from immigrant families

  • LGBTQ

Couples

I specialize in working with couples early in their relationships and couples looking for premarital therapy. Starting and sharing a life together with two people who may come from different backgrounds, experiences, family upbringing, traditions, and cultures can be both life expanding and at times difficult. I hold space in helping couples discuss and negotiate topics that may arise early on such as having children, where to live, the kind of home space you want to build as a couple, the family culture you want to create for yourselves and your children, in-laws, finances, sex and intimacy, house chores, and other topics along with values that have not yet been explicitly discussed or are challenging to talk about.

I help direct conversations that are both meaningful, heart based, and also effective. In the conversations that you have, I slow you down, look at ways you get stuck in communicating and give you feedback and provide tools to assist in navigating the difficult areas that arise.

Couples therapy can also contribute in understanding yourself, learning on a deeper level who you are as an individual. It can, at times, be a catalyst towards personal growth, which in turn, can lead to the further growth of the relationship. I have experience with and welcome couples of different gender and sexual orientations.
